Verde Outdoors

Verde Outdoors is a family-owned and operated pool and outdoor living design + build firm serving the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex, led by Colby Walding and Levi.

With over 20 years of experience, we incorporate the most up-to-date materials, technologies, and design trends with a streamlined process to deliver outdoor living environments that are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and within budget.

A key distinction in our approach is that our designers are your primary project managers. Your main point of contact will be the same individual from the consultation, through design, and throughout the construction process. We have worked diligently to develop and maintain a reputation of integrity, superior planning and execution, quality construction, and customer satisfaction.

We've successfully designed and built custom projects throughout North Texas and the surrounding areas. Our primary area of focus is Denton, Tarrant, Wise & Dallas County — and if you're outside those areas, please don't hesitate to contact us to see if we are the right fit for each other.

Our process

Five steps from first meeting to first swim.

Every project follows the same sequence, run by one dedicated project manager. Expand each step for what happens and how long it typically takes.

We conduct an on-site technical assessment to document topography, utilities, drainage, sightlines, and access, establish functional requirements, and align scope and preliminary budget.

Timing: Typically scheduled within 1–2 weeks.

Our design team delivers schematic plans and high-fidelity 3D renderings to validate geometry, materials, and systems integration; schematic civil and structural requirements are identified.

Timing: 2–4 weeks.

We produce a line-item proposal, discuss structural/soil engineering, prepare permit-ready documentation, and manage HOA and municipal submissions to secure approvals.

Timing: 2–8+ weeks (permit-dependent).

A dedicated project manager oversees excavation, structural shell, mechanical/plumbing/electrical integration, finishes, and hardscaping with scheduled inspections and QA checkpoints to ensure compliance and build integrity.

Timing: 12–24 weeks (scope-dependent).

We perform final system checks, water chemistry validation, automation handover, and a structured owner training session; warranty documentation and maintenance options are provided to protect your asset.

Timing: 1–2 weeks for turnover; ongoing service per agreement.
